Ducati Diavel now in diamond black

Ducati have recently announced the Ducati Diavel will be available in a new diamond black with black frame together wit ha black anodised headlamp body and lateral air intakes.

The new colour is already in production and will be available in February next year (2011).

Ducati DIAVEL finally unveiled and brand new Monster 1100EVO revealed

After much waiting and pre-launch anticipation Ducati finally revealed their new muscle bike the Ducati DIAVEL, together with a brand new monster model the Ducati Monster 1100EVO at the recent EICMA motorcycle show.

Ducati DIAVEL


Here's the only picture we've seen on release of Ducati's new bike the DIAVEL which is being official released at the Milan show. Ducati have used  the local Bolognese dialect word for “devil” in naming their new model Diavel – pronounced Dee-ah-vel.

Technical deatils released so far include  ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes the Superbike-derived Testastretta 11° engine and  weight of 207kg (456lb).

Ducati previews 2011 range

Ducati previewed their 2011 range at the recent INTERMOT motorcycle show in Cologne with updates for the Superbike, Monster and Streetfighter.

In their Superbike range Ducati showed of the new Ducati 848 EVO with 140hp on tap  and  equipped with Brembo Monobloc callipers and steering damper with a stunning new “arctic white” livery with sporty red wheels and red frame.

Additionally in the Superbike range, the standard 1198 is enhanced with the addition of Ducati Traction Control (DTC), the Ducati Data Analyser (DDA) and the brand new Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) fitted as standard equipment on all versions. For 2011, their is a new 1198 SP, which enhances the previous 'S' version by rolling out 2011 Ducati 848EVO in Artic Whitee quipped with DTC, DQS, DDA, Ohlins TTX rear suspension, slipper clutch and aluminium fuel tank in addition to the usual Ohlins front suspension, forged Marchesini wheels and lightweight carbon fibre components.


The 2011 Streetfighter has  a new arctic white colour scheme while the Streetfighter S has new colour schemes of red with red frame or diamond black with racing black frame, both with black wheels. A black radiator cover on all versions completes the Streetfighter's aesthetic updates.


Meanwhile the entry level Monster 696 gets new 43mm Marzocchi forks and enhanced ergonomics, including 20mm higher handlebars and a new rear sub-frame designed to accept the user-friendly passenger grab-rail kit available as a Ducati Performance accessory. The Monster 696 has two new colour schemes of “dark stealth” and “stone white”. The Monster 796, also adopts Marzocchi front suspension.

Ducati launch the 848 EVO



Ducati have given the 848 a boost with the launch of the EVO. The “EVO” treatment applied to the 848 introduces a 6hp power boost to 140hp (103kW) and a torque increase to 72.3lb-ft (98Nm)

More miles on the new Ducati Multistrada 1200





Ducati UK have advised that the much awaited Multistrada 1200 will have significantly extended service intervals, with major services only being required evry 24,000 km (15,000 miles).

This doubling of the mileage between valve clearance inspection has been made possible with the introduction of a new valve seat material combined with improved combustion efficiency and temperature management designed into the Multistrada’s new Testastretta 11° engine, but this revised engine also offers improved fuel economy. So it seems like you will truly get more miles on the new Ducati Multistrada 1200!

2010 Ducati Models



Ducati launched its 2010 model range this week at the EICMA show in Milan. Top billing is given to the new and eagerly awaited Ducati Multistrada 1200, which is in the running for "best bike in show".

The Ducati Desmosedici RR in G8 summit livery





The Ducati Desmosedici RR,has been prepared with a special livery by Ducati and the Fiera Milano, a unique, one-off design.

The graphics, suggested by the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, incorporate the G8 logo.

Ducati and the Fiera Milano accepted the invitation to design and create a special version of the Desmosedici RR will be showcased at the G8 summit to be held in L’Aquila.

At Donington Park circuit on the 30th June the world largest ever gathering of Ducati Desmosedici's took place with 45 Desmosedici's taking to the track, on an exclusive Desmosedici-only track day.
